Your information, kept simply.

Flippin Furniture (Pty) Ltd collects only what we need to quote, do the work and deliver your furniture, in line with the Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA).

What we collect

• Your name, WhatsApp or phone number, email address and suburb.
• Photos and descriptions of your furniture.
• Your collection and delivery address once you book, and a record of your quote, payments and messages with us.

We never ask for ID numbers or card details. Card payments go through our payment provider, not through us.

What we use it for

• To reply to your enquiry, quote, book, collect, deliver and invoice.
• To share your address and number with the delivery service carrying your piece, only for that trip.
• To send you the occasional before-and-after or first look at pieces for sale, only if you ticked that box. Reply STOP or ask us and we stop straight away.

We only show photos of your piece on our website or social media if you agree. We never show your name or address.

Where it is kept

Enquiries are stored in our customer records, hosted by Cloudflare, which may store data outside South Africa under its own security and privacy safeguards. Only the two of us can sign in to it.

How long we keep it

We keep job records for five years for tax purposes, and delete enquiries that didn't go ahead after two years.

Your rights

You may ask what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it, at any time. Contact our Information Officer, Reynard du Toit, at [email protected]. If you're unhappy with how we handle your information, you may complain to the Information Regulator at inforegulator.org.za.
